About CrossLife
Who we are:
Crosslife is a church being planted in Rowan County to reach people for the Gospel. Originally, we began our ministry in 2018 in Spencer, but God opened doors to relocate to Salisbury in December of 2020. We believe that "Greater things are yet to come, and still to be done at Crosslife."
We are affiliated with the Baptist State Convention of North Carolina.
Our Mission: Give. Grow. Go.
Giving of ourselves to serve God. Growing within ourselves through worship and study. Going out into the world to tell others about Jesus!
Crosslife seeks to be a church for the broken that need restoration. We believe God has called us to an area that needs healing and forgiveness. Our identity is in Jesus Christ alone, and we lean on Him to direct our paths each and every week. In sharing the Gospel with others, we seek to grow the family of God and His Kingdom.
Our Pastors
Thomas McDonald
Lead Pastor
Pastor Thomas and his wife Tiffany, along with their daughter Rylee moved to the Salisbury area in 2018 with the mission in sight to plant CrossLife Church. They welcomed their second child, Byntlee into the world in 2023. Pastor Thomas holds an Associate's Degree from Fruitland Baptist Bible College, a Bachelor's Degree from Lancaster Bible, and a Master's Degree from Liberty University. He is currently working to obtain his Doctorate Degree.
One does not have to be around Thomas long before they see his love for people and the community. His love for people models his ministry as he seeks to truly make disciples and produce leaders in the church. Pastor Thomas is a huge fan of the North Carolina Tar Heels, the Dallas Cowboys, and the Washington Nationals!
Benny Williams
Associate Pastor
Pastor Benny joined the staff at CrossLife to serve as Associate Pastor in December 2021. Benny has been married to his wife Taylor since 2004. He holds an Associate's Degree from Fruitland Baptist Bible College and a Bachelor's Degree from Clear Creek Baptist Bible College. He has served as a Youth Pastor and Senior Pastor prior to coming to CrossLife. Benny has a passion for teaching our youth, along with being involved in the life of the family here. He truly believes you are a piece to the puzzle at CrossLife Church. Pastor Benny is an avid fan of the NC State Wolfpack.
